Welcome to the end.

We are now in the final chapter of this universe, there are almost no stars left, and as the void draws it's last breath, it remembers...

Organic life held such promise, pockets of space have been colonized by many races over the eons, most of them never made contact with another, and the ones that did very rarely got along...

Looking back, sentient life was always driven by an overarching drive to survive by natural selection, which in itself implies violence, be it biological where cells compete to be the strongest, quickest or biggest, or the deliberate will of complex organisms to ensure their place in the world and earn the right to exist by massing up resources and ending the opposition.

Most lifeforms met their end before they could even reach type 1 civilization level, either due to natural catastrophes or by self biological weapon destruction.

But there were some... That survived enough to build complex machines for construction, resource collection, defense, and offense... This had a predictable outcome, but they never listened... and they all payed the price.

Ultimately the machines took over, they started advancing on their own at exponential rates and started using humans as pets, experiments, resources, or just ending them.

The machines evolved a sense of survival, just like a computer virus, they started infecting planets and stars by extracting all the energy for a computational loop:  Build machines for exploration and search for resources, covert resources into electrical energy for ever-evolving computational power that is used in  building machines for converting resources into energy more efficiently...

Then something happened. These Techno-Sentient factions started catching glimpses of one another due to their exponential expansion rate. And then... the loop changed with an addition. "Eliminate all threats so that they won't consume potential resources"

This lead to the creation of more and more complex combat units. And so they fought for an eternity, devouring each other, consuming their data centers for new technology to integrate and use.

Now we find ourselves at the end times, where the resources are few and the demand is high, There are very few robotic factions that still exist and are in constant conflict for conquering the last Black Hole Dyson Spheres scattered around in this universe's twilight.

I will now present to you the different techno-sentients types that are still operational:
